Club Fees

Fort Sask Sonic Volleyball Club fees are less expensive than most of the more established clubs in the Strathcona County, Sturgeon County and the Edmonton area and you won't be surprised with a bunch of extra costs. Player fees will be due on signing of player contract deadline

Fees will be payable through e-transfer or cheque, we are not set up to accept credit card payments. If assistance is needed parents can reach out to KidSport Canada or Canadian Tire Jumpstart (links are below)

Estimated costs for 2026-2027 Season  -  Fees are approximate. Fees are based on a 12 player team (if less than 12 athletes are selected club fees will increase accordingly). Fees are subject to change based on Volleyball Alberta tournament fee increases

12U- Co-ed - $1300 - $1500

13U - $1300 - $1500

14U - $1800 - $2000 (additional cost if attending nationals)

15U - $2200 - $2400 (will attend Nationals, location TBD)

16U - $2300 - $2500 (will attend Nationals, location TBD)

17U - $2400 - $2600 (will attend Nationals, location TBD)

18U - $2500 - $2700 (will attend Nationals, location TBD)

Your Club Fees include

• Generous apparel package 

• Registration Entry Fees for all teams for Volleyball Alberta Premier League matches

• 2 Privately hosted club team tournament entry fees(if available) & Exhibition matches

• Coaches’ Volleyball Alberta/Volleyball Canada Coach Membership Fee

• Coach Training and Certification Programs

• Team Building Group Activities and season windup (start, mid and post season)

• Gym Rentals for Team Training/Practices (practices 2x per week @ 2 hours each)

• Club Administration & Registration Fees

• National's registration for 14, 15 ,16,17U age groups (depending on interest and availability)

Fees that are not included

• Volleyball Alberta recreation player registration - Paid to Volleyball Alberta in the amount $21.81 required prior to tryouts

• Volleyball Alberta Competitive player upgrade once selected to a team (approx $90)

• Potential hotel/travel fees for out of town tournaments 

*Refunds are not available after the signing date regardless of injury or any other personal reason which would result in an athlete being an inactive member of the team. Appeals to this rule will be reviewed by the club on a case by case basis*

**Late fees will be charged a fee of $50/month  at the end of each month that fees were due and have not been received. Player can be removed from the roster if late, at the discretion of the club**

***In the event that a team should fold due to a coach dropping out or shortage of athletes a full refund will be offered***
